Monday, 26th Sep 1988 was one of the happiest days of our lives. From that day on everyday was so full of activity and fun. This was the day Bobbo was born, it had rained a lot on that day.

Bob, when he was 3 months old and right side, when he was one year old.
Round and cute, just like all north eastern babies, he really looked like Bobbo, chubby chubby. So, everyone just started calling him Bobbo. His good name was Rameshwar and Ram for all his friends.
To tell you about him, he was extremely creative and intelligent with an uncanny sense of humor and could make light of any situation, a very popular person among his friends. Since he was a child he did attract many girls, whenever we would go for a walk with him, we could only hear Bobbo, Bobbo from all corners of the parks and neighboruing houses.

His creativity became more evident when he started coming up with all stylish bike drawings with specifications. We thought he would be an automobile engineer some day. We still have all those sketches. Treasured! Then during the last couple of years of school he got into hard rock, metallica and stuff. He got hold of all voice and music software and started some funny band. This band churned out many tracks and our home was there production house. We silently suffered through that phase. (Well, my protests were killed by louder music or whatever it was) We were surprised that the band did manage to sell CDs of their music to their school mates after giving them a taste of it in the seniors’ farewell party. We were by then not so sure of the automobile engineer part.

He was also very good with sports and professionally trained in swimming, cricket and tennis, we thought that a career in sports might hold some interest for him. Dad would have loved that. He was an all rounder who could play any game from badminton to soccer except for hockey much to Dad’s disappointment.
Then finally came the time for him to chose a career and already he was in his 12th standard. He was dead sure that he would be doing Animation in NID. So far his animation tricks were a cartoon movie of himself and my nephew, another one with some karate stunts. They were great but we thought this one will also pass.
And even after a lot of counseling he was not ready to keep an alternative ready. Except him, none of us was as confident as him. Finally, he was studying animation in NID, Ahmedabad the one and only prestigious institute of Design in India. And we are sorry brother for not showing enough faith in you.Getting into NID was a tough one, and ONLY people born with creativity can get through the series and series of test rounds and interviews.

He was one great brother who even after being the youngest among us was always so caring, understanding and dependable. His growing up days was fun, we had our share of experience of being a parent with him. He made us proud with all his big and small success in various things that he did. Today when he is not with us anymore, there is a big void in our lives.

Bobbo really loved each one of us a lot and he never even made a choice of whom he loved the most even when he was just a kid. He has taught us many things in his short life. He selflessly cared for everyone, always helped mom in the chores without being told to. He never answered back to any of us. He never failed to complement us. He was very self confident, and would praise good work done by any of his friends, even while talking of animations, he would talk more about his friends’ work even though we all knew that he was the best, and that happens only when you are confident about yourself. He had a really great sense of humor and appreciated humor in any form even at the expense of his own. Great artist, great sportsman, best friend, best son and the Best brother.
